Haas-Meincke A/S BU Biscuit is part of the Consumer Food Division of the Bühler Group– www.buhlergroup.com. The BU has its HQ in Copenhagen and acts as an independent manufacturer and distributor of baking machinery. The company operates world-wide with its own sales companies and assembly sites in Europe, the Far East and South America. The company executes approx. 100+ projects per year from three main engineering and assembly sites.

We are looking for 1 mechanical design engineer for our Engineering organization in Skovlunde (Copenhagen) and 1 in Rødkærsbro (Jutland). You will join a highly motivated teams of talented engineers solving challenging technical problems.

 

The job
Provide the required engineering services including all deliveries within the time schedule, with the required quality, while ensuring compliance with Bühler related directives and EHS standards.

Key tasks
· Execution of scope of work as part of projects
· Actively participate in Project Reviews or Project Meetings if required
· Support Project Manager to ensure a proper project execution
· Resolve questions or problems that occur during the design and manufacturing as well as during installation and commissioning with support of Project Manager
· Track schedules to ensure his parts of the projects are executed completely and on time. Prioritize and manage work hours to support budgeted hours and scheduled due dates for projects
· Capture return of experience and best practice, apply lessons learned

Qualifications
· You have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
· Experience with Creo, Inventor or similar tools and PDM systems
· Knowledge within design for manufacture, standardization and modularization preferably with experience from the food industry
· Orientation on high quality and standards of work results.
· You have a good cross-cultural awareness.
· You are proactive.
· Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
· Customer focus
· Sound judgment and decision making skills
· Good problem solving skills
· Ability to work in a matrix organization
· Good written and oral communication skills in English
· Industry and basic business knowledge
